ART BRADLEE (Executive Director) has been there since almost the beginning.
He first became involved in the then new Mobile DJ business in 1975 and in 1977 became Director of the AMERICAN ACADEMY OF BROADCASTING, a fully accredited and licensed trade and technical school, preparing women and men for careers in radio & TV broadcasting as DJs, Newspersons, Sportscasters, and TV Camera Operators. Over the years, Art worked with and was hired as a consultant for new DJ companies all up and down the East Coast. He sold his last business (17 rigs, thousands of CDs, etc)in 1996 and became the first ever Ad Sales Manager for MOBILE BEAT, THE DJ MAGAZINE and spent the next 6 1/2 years learning even more about the what had now become the Mobile DJ Industry. The difference about this learning experience was that now he became a business friend, if you will, to hundreds of manufacturers and manufacturer reps and remains even today on a first name basis with them. His reputation is impeccable as an honest, straightshootin' guy. Since educating the media is so important to the future of our industry, it is equally important that we educate these very same suppliers of the equipment we use weekly to recognize the GLOBAL MOBILE ENTERTAINERS ASSOCIATION. Art Bradlee is uniquely qualified to achieve this task.
DAVID ARMSTRONG (Vice President) is a native of Binghamton, NY.
Since graduating college, Mr. Armstrong has been involved in a variety of marketing
and management positions. He worked with Art Bradlee's America's Best Mobile Disc Jockey
and Karaoke Service from 1987-1996 and at the same time has been promoting and indirectly
producing such stars as Bruce Springsteen, Cher, Dave Matthews, Andrea Bocelli, Faith Hill
& Tim McGraw. David has worked for the Harlem Globetrotters Organization, The Ice Capades,
and Director of Marketing for the Binghamton Whalers Hockey club of the American Hockey
League. No one ever said that Mobile Entertainer Associations have to be colorless and without
recognition. We are, after all, an entertainment industry. Mr. Armstrong, with his strong background in sales and marketing, and his familiarity with the movers and shakers of the entertainment industry will bring recognition to the
Mobile Entertainers Industry in general and to the GLOBAL MOBILE ENTERTAINERS ASSOCIATION in particular.
ROBBIE ROZELLE (Designer) is a native of Binghamton, NY. After five years in the mobile DJ business as a part of Art Bradlee's America's Best Mobile Disc Jockey and Karaoke Service, he relocated to Pennsylvania where he had absolutely nothing to do. Sitting down at a computer, he formed Ghostlight Design, designing for some of the foremost performers on Broadway and cabaret. Robbie also has worked successfully in the music industry, most recently with Grammy-nominated record labels PS Classics and Fynsworth Alley.
